Steinhoff UK Group Properties are looking for a motivated, organised individual with great attention to detail to support the Energy Manager in the day to day management of utilities across the Steinhoff UK Portfolio. Acting as the primary contact for information and queries from external providers in relation to energy and utilities.

  • A great attention to detail to aid in identifying errors and managing utility accounts.
  • Previous experience working with utility accounts.
  • Experience managing accounts over a multi-site business.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide assistance and administrative support to the Group Energy Manager.
  • Be the first point of contact for Steinhoff Group Property’s Bureau provider, ensuring targets are met and queries are processed in a timely manner.
  • To check for discrepancies on Group Utility Accounts Links and liaise with external suppliers and bureau providers to resolve arising queries.
  • Ensure the active estates utility meters are included on the appropriate consolidated group contracts.
  • To liaise with Project Managers and contractors to establish the utility status of new stores and assist with any utility infrastructure changes required.
  • To process the opening and closing of Utility Accounts for new/old sites.
  • Inform the Group Energy Manager of the progress of site additions/removals to contracts, changes to databases, utility queries and any other necessary details.
  • To work with suppliers, bureau providers and internal stakeholders to resolve backdated energy billing discrepancies/queries.
  • Keep the relevant company databases updated with the correct site utility information.
  • To liaise with Store Managers on utility related matters and answer any utility queries they may have.
  • When required assist the Group Energy Manager in producing reports on energy consumption and costs.
  • Support the HelpDesk with interruption in utility supplies.
  • Coordinate meter or data logger exchanges as requested by contracted meter operators (MOP) and data collectors (DC).
