Job Description

Sanderson & HR Resourcing looking to appoint an experienced People Manager on a 6-12 month contract, on behalf of a successful organisation based in Hampshire.

This is an exciting interim opportunity for a HR Manager to work closely with business leaders whilst supporting the efficient and effective management of their employees.

The main purpose of this role is to enhance the performance and well-being of the employees, as well as liaising with senior management and key business functions.

Main Responsibilities include:

  • First point of contact for escalated employee related issues
  • Manage and execute engagement plans for groups that need additional attention to increase morale and performance
  • Managing day to day HR queries from employees across the business
  • Monitor performance management and capability issues
  • Manage the retention of internal talent and working in partnership with key business functions
  • Liaising with senior management and Business Leaders

Candidate profile:

  • Ideally you will SC Cleared and have previous experience working in a defence/engineering background
  • Previous experience managing and leading a team within a HR environment
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills - ability to prioritise to high pressured schedules and deadlines
  • Forward thinking, commercial acumen - ability to take appropriate action to be prepared for potential contingencies
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
