Senior Graphic Designer
Salary: Up to £50k
Location: London
Role Type: 1 year contract
The Senior Graphic Designer will provide cover for a period of paternity leave for an existing role as the firm's sole designer. The role will be based in London and working in the Global Communications department, a team responsible for promoting the firm's entire practice across 14 offices and providing communication solutions to both internal and external audiences. Acting as the firm's only internal design resource, you will provide creative design work across a broad range of tasks and projects for numerous stakeholders. Design work will be both print and digital.
A self-sufficient attitude and a broad range of design skills are needed. The role requires diplomacy, strong organisational skills and outstanding attention to detail. The ability to work effectively in a demanding, international environment is critical. Previous law firm experience is highly desirable.
RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Advertising design
- Campaigns to external and internal audiences across multiple channels
- Design materials to support major internal events
- Display graphics design
- Email marketing, including the design and build of HTML emails
- Image requests
- Logo requests
- Managing the firms image libraries
- Maps, diagrams and infographics
- Recruitment materials
- Social media imagery
- Stationart and merchandise branding
- Template creation in Word and PowerPoint
- Updating bespoke brochures
- Updating brand guidelines
EXPERIENCE:
- Confident liaising with stakeholders at all levels of the firm
- Ability to balance large projects while maintaining regular design support
- Ability to produce bespoke design work from start to finish, from initial idea to the management of production, print or publication
- In-house experience in a global professional services firm
- Previous law firm experience highly desirable
- Highly skilled in Adobe Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat
- HTML for email needed / HTML and CSS for digital work desirable
- Experience of email marketing platforms
