Job Description

1st Line / 2nd Line Support

Location: Bridgnorth

Contract £90

4 months with extension.

My client looks for well-motivated and well-prepared professionals with at least 3 years of IT Support experience.

The IT Technician roles and responsibilities include:

  • Work to provide 1st line IT Support to the firm across 4 sites.
  • Providing a fast, polite and efficient responses to all staff.  
  • Logging all IT Support service desk calls and dealing with them promptly.
  • Keep communication with end users on the status of IT support calls.
  • Working closely with the IT infrastructure on maintaining the internal systems.
  • To support IT projects set up by the project manager
  • To research solutions to problems for future reference.

The IT Technician Requirements will include:

  • Experience with Troubleshooting office 365 and office 10
  • Experience Troubleshooting Windows 7,8,10
    • Excellent communications and people skills.
    • Enthusiasm when being involved on a 1st Line service.
    • Experience working with general hardware, software and networking support.
    • Good knowledge of SCCM would also be beneficial.
