Job Summary

The Junction Health Centre is seeking an enthusiastic, proactive person with great communication skills to work as a receptionist for its busy GP Practice / Walk in Centre. Hours: 37.5 hours per week Mon 12-8pm, Tues 8-4pm, Weds 12-8pm, Thurs 12-8pm and Friday 8-4pm (to be confirmed) Also includes working ONE weekend day (either sat or sun) per month. The role is 5 days per week, when a weekend shift is worked the employee will have a day off during the week.


As a member of the GP Surgery and Walk in Centre in Wandsworth the post holder will be responsible for the general administrative functions within the Practice including the provision of reception cover when necessary. Work within set routines, policies and procedures to provide a comprehensive high quality service to the unit, and able to deal efficiently and courteously with patients and relatives enquiries.


The ideal candidate must be available to work morning and evening shift patterns stated above. Previous GP practice/healthcare experience is essential and preferably knowledge of EMIS WEB clinical software, although training will be provided.
