Job Description

As a result of a new project on behalf of one of our clients, JLT are recruiting for Wealth Agents (Customer Service Advisers) to join a project team to be based in Orpington. We are looking for candidates with financial services experience for a 5 month FTC starting mid-May with a retention bonus paid on completion. Full training will be given. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about pensions and to acquire the skills and experience for a longer term career within financial services.

The role

Once you have completed your training period, you will be part of a team speaking with members on the ‘phone, educating them on important choices regarding their pension schemes - these are not sales calls and you will not be making a high volume of calls.

You will demonstrate a flexible style of communication to suit the callers’ requirements and work hard to understand the needs and expectations of customers, whilst flagging any technical questions you are asked and being a role model for the JLT principles in every interaction. You will receive full training and guidance in order to provide advice on pension illustrations whilst ensuring customers are in an informed position to make a decision. You will convey sometimes complex concepts and terminology in an effective way to increase understanding.

What we are looking for

We are looking for candidates with good communication skills and financial services background with experience from a call centre or similar telephony environment. Any pensions knowledge would be beneficial but is not required as full pensions training will be provided.
