Notify your current
Umbrella Company Provider
Your current umbrella company will issue you with a P45 and ensure outstanding expenses are claimed and salary is paid.
2.
Find a suitable contractor accountant who can help with paperwork and statutory requirements.

3.
Set up and incorporate your limited company
A good contractor accountant can have you set up and registered within a couple of days.
4.
Open a separate business bank account
Your contracts will now need to be issued in your new company name. Any payments for your contract work will be made into the new limited company bank account.

As soon as that’s completed, you’re ready to start making money!
Your accountant will be able to recommend the correct salary and dividend combination that you should take and review any upcoming contracts for IR35 compliance.
